I hope I am not stealing my friend's limelight. This is a couple I know from out walking Beau. They probably know Beau much better than they know me.
This couple took some bread to feed the ducks and other fowl at the Glenview pond. They got the attention of a great blue heron which seemed to enjoy the bread as well as did the ducks. They thought that the feathered friends had had their fill so my friend decided to start feeding the fish. He throws a piece of bread on the surface of the pond and a fish rises to the surface. And quickly is caught and eaten by the heron who it looks like just had some room for a little more.
