Default Poem about dog or cat in a shelter waiting to be rescued.

Quote:
Dreamers

Walking in circles, I’m wearing a track
That leads me from nowhere to nowhere and back.
Tethered to loneliness, wondering why,
Watching and waiting while life passes by.

But deep in my dreams from twilight ‘til dawn,
I’m running and free, my cares nearly gone.
Yes, deep in my dreams and through the long night,
I’m racing the moon and chasing delight.

I’ve heard through the grapevine today is the day
When I will be rescued and taken away
From this place to someplace where broken hearts mend
And I will find love in the face of a friend.

For dreamers have dreamed, the work has begun,
A labor of love with more to be done,
I find myself now with a future that’s bright,
Where I’ll race the sun and chase the daylight.

Yes, I’m here to tell you that dreams do come true
For I’m Chasing Daylight with you!
