The news media's function is to be truth tellers, fact finders irrespective of party religion etc. However they are heavily biased on the left, some misinforming, others not informing at all while others making stories up as they go along. Fact checking is a joke because we need fact checkers to check fact checkers who in turn need fact checkers......
And as to this forum we have posters who actually are holding other posters to a higher standard of accuracy than they require from or receive from their news sources of current events. Its insane

I can tell you that anything I post has been at least triple checked. I actually mean I check at least three separate sources AND THE SOURCE it self before posting it.
I posted a number of links on here today about the possibility and discussion on the appointment of the Dept HHS (Price) and the medicaire situation. The responss ignored those links totally with no comment. I do not give any wishy washy links and if I do and am called on it, I will come on here and apologize. I have even apologized in advance if my source was good but not great. I also never ever steal their words and use as mine. I always cut and paste so that you and others can read it in context.
Perhaps you and I have different aims on this forum and in life.
My aim is to learn and share...FACTS. Not to simply sign on and attack the side I do not normally agree with, first because I know that neither conservative nor liberal is 100% right. Second, the continuation of that simply adds to the divide in this country.
I prefer to share what I find and my opinion on that.
Here is the problem. I try to share and then get back a reply simply aimed to denegrate a person or trump up Trump, or deenegrate a movement, right or left.
That serves NO purpose. What did you learn ?
It appears you come on here first and foremost to preach your gospel which is so predictable. You hate liberals, and it appears all of them. You hate President Obama on all issues and all problems should be laid at his feet. You did not support Trump to start but have come to realize he is so smart and brilliant and he is manipulating the left. You attach terrible motives to anyone who opposes Trumps lies. You find all he says to be true and the "holy grail"
I am sorry...I am simply pleading, NOT for universal agreement on issues, but at least discussing THE issue and how you feel about it without the constant pics and name calling. I have been, and hate to admit it, out of anger retorting to some of that because if flies in the face of adult conversation.
i am a conservative and the conservatives on here are becoming so infantile, proclaiming victory, admonishing all on the left as "whatever the word of the day might be" and making stuff up. Come on, you told us that Obama moved in two blocks from the WH so he could keep after Trump even though factually, he moved in to that house many months ago. Yet you attached this motive to it because you do not like Obama. If you can attach a factual issue to that move, so be it, but to make one up....come on.
