Anyone believing or promoting fear that any politician Democrat or Republican would be as foolish to pull medicare of the shelf immediately is either naive', a non-thinker or a liar. Look at the history of this nation any changes to our mode of transportation, etc evolved. If the Republicans are successful in producing a bill that will alter the financing, etc of medicare it will be an evolutionary process affecting later generations of Americans and not grandpa and grandma now or in the near future.
Trump's modus operandi is very cleverly disguised and plays to the emotional reactionaries on the left. And they bite every time. Personally I do not like Trump's approach but it gets results.
Trump has them so up in arms that liberals are purchasing fire arms at a record breaking level.
But then the left has spent some 40 years trying to breed out alpha males in their ranks and replacing them with metrosexuals.

Parts of the medicare replacement bill (the voucher plan) are leaking out on-line. The full benefit retirement age is being raised from 65 to 70.
All those in their early 60's who are counting the days until they turn 65 can now add another five years to their plans.
