Trump made it clear he believed the Obama's Administrations policy of telling the enemy what he was going to do and when he was going to do it was a losing strategy. Trump fancies himself a good strategist when it comes to negotiations. The news media and otherwise observers in general often misinterpret the subtleties in Trumps sound bites and his tendency to try and get talks underway on the right foot.

What should Trump do about the Crimea when Putin has already taken it over and the people in this region mostly welcomed it? Perhaps I am wrong but I do not view Russia and China as a threat in the sense that they want to invade our lands. I do recognize that they are both aggressively pursuing advantage for their respective nations..

Pursuing Putin is like pursuing the opportunity to ask an attractive woman if she would like to dance with you. The worse she can say is no thank you.
