Of course they are...but it goes far beyond that.

Deep down, if they have any decency whatsoever, they know the truth...but are loathe to admit it.

Because the next logical conclusion, is that they would have to acknowledge that they worship a scumbag who lies 80% of the time...and they have no problem with it.

For them to admit that they don't really care what happens to this great nation, as long as 'their guy' won the election...is tantamount to treason.
