At 9pm on Channel 24 WUCF Educational TV is the brand new season 4 episode 1, although every season is only 3 shows, of "Sherlock". It's Sherlock Holmes featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, who is now a big star thanks Dr. Strange and The Immitation Game and as Dr. Watson is Martin Freeman. If you watched season 1 of Fargo on FX two years ago with Billy Bob Thornton as the hitman, Martin Freeman was the insurance salesman that got mixed up with him. He's also one of the main characters in Lord of the Rings, but I've never seen those.
Anyway, if you haven't seen any they are available on Netflix. There is only 9 episodes, 3 shows per season and 3 seasons and a couple of behind the scenes shows. They did release a single episode a few months ago, but it was a flashback to the 1800's, I didn't really care for that one. They don't make 10 or more shows per season because these are each 90 minutes and have no commercials. A US 60 minute show is only 40 minutes when you subtract the commercials. These episodes take about 28 days to film, they much like a mini movie.
So if your a Sherlock Holmes fan, watch these. I started watching when Elementary (US Sherlock Holmes) was in season 2, and I almost couldn't watch Elementary anymore since it didn't compare. These however are totally different, give it a try and I'm still a fan of Elementary.
