There were ONLY two candidates and I chose the one that had the closest ideology to mine. You chose someone that had absolutely NO chance of winning, purely out of protest. How did that go for you? No one knows who you voted for and probably do not even care. You wasted your effort, and that just makes your effort foolish. Kind of like the elector that voted for Kasich as a protest vote. It had absolutely no effect.
