When it comes to government follow the suggest of a great president Ronald Reagan, Trust but verify. Governments are immoral and as such they do not care about right or wrong.
It has been reported that the head of the CIA John Brennan voted for communism in his college days. Is it factual? Has he changed his ideology if it is factual? either way it causes me to rule with my head and not my emotions and to search what is really being said between the lines. and as I said in another post our intelligence agencies failed a number of times.
