If it's a simple case, you have ALL the documentation you need and can concisely explain the issue...you may be better off without one.

After all, most decent people (even judges) tend to root for the underdog and having an attorney on the other side...can be an advantage for you.

If it's anything to do with contract interpretation, or of a technical legal issue...getting your own may be better.

I have been to SCC 4 times in my life and the only time I was ruled against, was when my interpretation of what I thought was a clearly worded contract...was actually legally incorrect.
