The real ha ha ha is the fact we elect the same 435 house members that spend all this money every two years. We over pay them, inflate their worth much more than it actual is, and give them a level of respect much higher than they earn. I still say a balanced budget with all having some skin in the game is what we need. It is true 47 percent of us do not pay federal income taxes and many get a refund of taxes they didn't pay. Why would that 47% ever vote for any kind of austerity measure?
