It HAS to come around and bite me...it HAS to come around and bite everyone.
Did you read what I wrote?
A family of 4 MUST pay $5,000 a month from age 1 to 66 JUST to "pay for" $1 million worth of health care for each of them in their lifetime.
To put it in other words...it takes $1,250 a month every month for 66 years to add up to $1 million. Anything less than that and the insurance company loses money.
People who have healthcare costs of hundreds ot thousands a year, should NOT be insurable. What insurance company should have to pick up someone who is guaranteed to cost you more than they pay in premiums? If their medical bills are $100,000 a year...for life...what insurance company wants to pick them up for a few thousand a month in premiums?
The country WILL go to "death panels" it's inevitable...medical care WILL bankrupt us further if something radical isn't done. You can't just add 50 million people on the backs of the other 50 million.
The question is...IS healthcare a right? Should government provide it?
