I love the Temecula area and all of the golf nearby.
Up until 10 years ago, I would visit my buddy in Newport Beach numerous times a year and we would get two rounds in a day on the Temecula area courses...even though it was a bit of a drive.
One of my all-time favorite holes is still the 18th at Eagleglen (a little ways up I-15 from Temecula), where there is something like a 100' (?) drop from tee to fairway.
I also feel that I am an equity owner in Pechanga, given that I helped it grow from an oversized quonset hut...to a Las Vegas style resort & casino.
Anyway, although you may miss seeing mountains...welcome to The Villages.
