This is a pic of the
Savage Rapids Dam. Before I purchased my property, I lived in a rental home across the road, and I walked the dog every morning at the dam! The SRD has been removed....... because it was considered a threat to the salmon.
Samhass.... you are so correct.... this area has awesome natural beauty, especially the Rogue River. The bottom line is - the long, dreary winter, the black-ice, the frost on cars & roads, living in the boonies with less choices for activities. I dunno :dontknow:
