Freedom Pointe is under construction...it will be an independent living facility; I believe it will max out at 7 stories. Most of its residents are expected to be Villagers who no longer want to or are able to maintain a single family home but don't want to leave the Villages lifestyle or environs either. It is located off of El Camino Real, across the street from the hospital. Last I heard, they had already sold half the units. I have no idea what kind of costs are involved. I believe it is scheduled to open sometime in 2009.
