Some of that might make some sense if we were having a problem with the governments of those countries. However most of the problems with terrorism have to do with radical Islamists who are not part of the official government of those countries. In fact, in Iraq and Syria, the terrorists are trying to oust the current governments and turn them into Muslim theocracies.
Oil has nothing to do with any of this. We only get a small percentage of our oil from the Middle East.
