I do know the girl that was killed in San Fransisco was killed by a illegal immigrant that had been arrested days earlier and was released, but I believe he was prosecuted for the murder. A point to be made against the sanctuary cities is this murder most likely would not have happened if they turned him over to ICE. I am sure you can agree it is a shame this lawful citizen lost her life to a person that should not have even been in the country? A google search brought up several of these type stories...
I feel it is wrong to harbor these illegal immigrants, they should be deported and then they can apply for citizenship, the way the legal immigrants have all done. If these cities want to disregard the law, then I don't want to reward them with my tax money. Maybe the illegal immigrants can pay the difference??
