Don't know which is worse, a comb over or a really bad toupee.

I had a funny experience years ago with a male hair client.
When hair transplants first came out, he decided to get a couple of rows along the front to improve his hairline that was just starting to recede.
It was my first experience cutting a hair transplant. Looked pretty good as he wore it down across his forehead. If you lifted it up tho, the plugs looked like doll hair, very obvious. :yikes:
But what happened was his REAL hair continued to recede, so he started developing a bald patch behind the rows of plugs. I had to do a weird haircut to try to hide that.
Of course eventually he had to get more rows, and more rows and more rows................
He may still be getting them........
