Just watched the press briefing, I don't know how Spicer was NOT laughed off the dais "President Trump has been very hard on Russia"!!!! What a joke. Is he now trying to cover his tracks?
Evidently if it was not for the "LEAKS" which Trump insists are the true story here, Flynn would still have a job!
IF it's all about trust, why wasn't trust lost on Jan 26th when the AG went to the WH with the info about the then lying through his teeth Flynn? WHY, you might ask, because the Washington Post had not broken the story yet that Flynn was lying!!!!!
Woodward and Bernstein need to get together again cause this smacks of SWAMPGATE.

Actually, I thought Spicer did a pretty good job, however...the questions remain.
Spicer was very very clear that Flynn was asked to resign because when he found out that Flynn had lied to Pence, he lost confidence in hm. Was very clear, that was the only reason.
Trump, we are now told, was told about 17 days ago. No explanation for the delay, however....
When found out the Washington Post, New York Times, and the Wall St Journal were going to headline suddenly he is cut loose. Timeline has the President denying even knowing at approx 1PM, Conway giving the President has full confidence in Flynn. Later in the evening he is history. Actually Conway mentioned how he was still functioning on the Security Council
Keep in mind what one of his biographer had to say...

Now all day, the WH and Fox are headlining the leaks, and that is fair. Just to remind you of something, and I hate to do this, but I do not recall his name, but a reporter who was around during Clinto AND Nixon.....he basically said his experience is you have minimal leaks until you begin to lie, then there will be leaks.-
