The Trumpanzee is going to meet today with several major retail CEO's today. One topic will be the 20% import tax to build a wall.

Naturally, any such tax WILL increase the final price to consumers. That is YOU and me. In the very long run, it may increase jobs in America but that is way away in the future. Are YOU willing to pay over 20% more for imported goods? Remember that some are components for other products such as cars, washing machines, refrigerators, etc which are ig ticket items.

This is not something that can be done unilaterally by TRUMPANZEE but revenue bills originate in The House. I doubt if Congress would approve such a tax increase.

Any ideas?
