I'm betting everything on getting to TV, job, retirement and happiness. If I meet someone there she will already have bought into the TV lifestyle and everyone I've met there at least had experiences similar to me and might feel about things the way I do. God I hope so. Being alone sure sucks.

Your post inspired me to make my first official post.

I am helping my mom (a widow of last June) pack up and move this month to TV. I am thinking a lot of people (or more than she and I originally thought) move down there to have a new start on life after becoming a widow. She first thought she would be the only single down there for a 100 square miles, but after this 2nd trip, she is starting to discover that there are people like her, looking for a fresh start. I am hoping she finds lots of single and married lady friends and really gets plugged in pretty quick. She won't even entertain the thought of dating yet, but I'm hoping as she gets settled she discovers there is a lot of life to be lived yet. Right now though, I think she is doing best by taking one day at a time.
I wish you the very best, and hope all your dreams come true in TV, or wherever fate might bring you.
