Not sure who you are criticizing actually.

I am trying to define the terms thrown around here including alt right, conservative, liberal, etc. You use this term almost exclusively and just want to understand.
One person`s response and a bit of inconvenient history :

The term " Progressive " actually was introduced during and by the Presidency of Woodrow Wilson who was a Dem and extremely liberal .

As the President of Princeton he continued the proud tradition of the University as a school for Upper Class Whites Only .

The use of the word Progressive was first associated with the then popular philosophy of the benefit to society of the practice of " Eugenics " which advocated racial purity and the forced sterilization of citizens who were born with genetic defects and physical or mental shortcomings of any type .

US President Wilson initially as a professor and then the President of Princeton was an outspoken advocate for these practices and in addition the philosophy disapproved of inter-racial marriage and sought to make it universally illegal .

In fact, he authored or co-authored a book on this subject and while at Princeton he gave many talks advocating the practice of Human Genetics .

Today there is a huge dilemma at Princeton as some are advocating the removal of President Wilson`s name from any building at the University but are faced with the notion that this man was after-all the President of the US and played a huge role in the diplomacy associated with WW ! .

You just may have had the horrid thought that the above sounds quite a bit like the Nazi`s and the answer is correct there is a relationship between the early thinking of " The Progressives " and the early philosophy and beliefs of the Nazi Party .

P.S. Now for all of the high IQ experts on this site who like to pretend that they are from Missouri and say to me " show me " , I say do your own research .
