It turned out to be a brown recluse and the infection that developed was horrible. She had to have the bite lanced and poison drawn out but she has a huge scar from where the skin died around the bite.
Personally I despise all spiders and I cant distinguish the harmless ones from the dangerous ones so I try to avoid them all! YUKK!!!

Oh Nonie, so sorry to hear about your daughter's horrible experience. I shudder at the thought of it. Bless her heart; she survived, thank goodness.....b
