I hope that in the future the victims of this terrible disease will be able to find support groups which are among the many that now exist for sports, etc. It is a surprise that only one church has put a program in place but only for once a month I thought one of the major reasons for the churches was to help the ill and infirmed?
All groups exist only because someone will volunteer to be in charge; To book the room, open it and clean up after. Support Groups really often are just talking together and sharing ways to cope or reaching out for encouragement. I think it would be easy to start a cancer support group.
