Thanks Gracie for your consideration. I believe it is outrages that with all of the churches we have in The Villages one has not decided to dedicate some of its time to help those suffering under this terrible disease. I will not go into too much detail but I can say that my father who was a minister for over 60 years spent considerable time calling on the sick and working to give them support. Not having a group supported by and offering the resources of the church including space, ministerial help etc. is in my mind outrages. I do see one church who once a month opens its doors for a Cancer Support group and although it is limited the church should get credit for its recognition this is a space that should get help. Just some thoughts.
