You are right in your assessment. Absolutely correct.

A small group...RUBICON and a few others apparently feel entitled to take over the political forum, clearly to exchange the alt right hate point of view.

This tactic they use is not new.

I believe TOTV deserves better than this. I believe that there are many posters who would love to have a place to exchange views.

This recent effort is really obscene, but this group has no basement for low moral behavior.

These people are manifesting as if this really represented The Villages, which it does not.

This kind of thing goes on in the background of the main forum also, but that is moderated. There is evidently a group who feel this forum is their forum.

I spent some time with the original owner of TOTV discussing his setting up of political. What is happening now was his worst fear.

I just cannot see handing this over to these people. I can withstand differences of opinion. I can withstand hard nosed posts, but trying to intimidate me is the worst thing to do.
