Sorry but we are some of the many that make regular trips to Disney - often only for dinner. It is just over an hour away. You don't even need to have a ticket to the parks for most places where you would go for dinner (including Disney Springs). When you don't have children or grandchildren with you (which is wonderful at different times, for different reasons), Disney becomes an entirely new place and we find it particularly enjoyable. We also enjoy trips to Mt. Dora for shopping and a meal. Since we enjoy animals, we have also enjoyed trips to Crystal River to see manatees, Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, and the Giraffe Farm in Dade City. There are many places to go if you are interested in plants/landscaping, butterflies, and antiques too.
