I have always believed that the majority of Americans have a deep seated belief in "fair play" and that includes giving a person a chance, sometime a second chance. I believe this because we are social animals and mostly want to get along.

so based on that premise I believe progressives are really hurting themselves by continuing playing this resistance game and making false claiming that he is accomplishing much because the reality is that he is. The personal and demeaning attacks on Trump and his family will cause disgust of the accuser rather than the accused.

the democrats would have shown better by taking the high ground but they did not and that will hurt their party because it displays weakness not strength
