In order to "cut" government you have to cut salaries.
Look at any school budget and you'll find that 90% of it is salaries.
Do you want to tell me how any political party would survive the next election, after enacting government cuts by putting the necessary 500,000 to 1,000,000 people out of work?
I am still hopeful that Trump will do it...
The only candidate that addressed this was Rubio, who planned a hiring freeze that wouldn't replace the 35,000 federal employees who retire each month. 35,000. Each month.
That's a lot of people. 1 out of every 10 people with a job work for one of the governments in this country.
But don't worry yet. Rome didn't fall until that number was 1 of every 7.
