The Villages is operated just like any other corporation in a downturn economy. The first thing you cut is customer service. Many of the service operations in The Villages, have suffered from a reduction in manpower. It is expected that the remaining personnel cover for the missing and maintain their own job descriptions. Sounds good on paper but we all know how well it works. Many of the services performed in the past, and expected by many of us, were eliminated completely. We should accept that the services we received in the past will no longer be provided or downsized completely.
