BUT...there weren't many if ANY "blacks", negroid blacks...living in Rome.
Central Africa was still unexplored frontier well past the Roman empire. Maps of the Time didn't show southern or central africa...like they didn't show eastern asia...it was unknown...negroid Africans were unknown.
