The head of the FBI says that so far, there is no evidence that something occurred. This is the considered "demonstrable evidence" that it did not occur.

The really sad thing that that both sides do it. That take quotes that are favorable to their side an use them to in an attempt to bolster their argument. And they take quotes that are possibly unfavorable to the opposition and misuse them to knock down their argument.

This is just so much silliness. Until we stop playing "gotcha" we'll never get any problems solved.
