We live in the western part of TV (south of 466 and the new Walmart store). We can hear the train in the distance, but it doesn't bother us at all. We like it; and most people on our street in TV say that they also like it.
Now that I'm in exile in Canada for six month, I long for the sound of a train. :'(
I think there is only one part of TV, north/west corner, where the tracks run very close to the houses. Many comments on previous threads have been written, including a video posted by Talk Host who lives in that area. If you back on the tracks in that area, it might be a problem.
