Default Re: OIL VOTE

The situation has been brewing since the 70's....so all the hot air about what party did what or did not do that is exactly that ....hot air. A lot of both donkeys, elephants and everything in between have come and gone. What has been accomplished?
In the 70's we imported 25% of our oil.

In the 90's we imported 42%.

In 2007 we imported 75%.

So what else does everybody need to know that nothing was done......nothing is being done.....and nothing will be done AGAIN!!!!!!!

All the Democratic rhetoric about we can't drill our way out is more hot air. If we would have started in the 70 or 90's the hot air about how long it takes to realize results.

When will the American people wake up. Your elected politicians did not, have not and are not doing the job of taking care of the needs of the people. Their job is to take care of their careers first. Special interest and lobby groups second.

I always wondered why when certain movies projecting life in the future sort of seem to show a deteriorated environment....no oil....no food....living like the stone age again.....

That's where we are headed if the politicos are not dealt with.

I grow weary beating my gums (and fingers) trying to motivate the masses to action.

Don'tcha see what the special interest groups can make happen? Doncha?
