While certainly possible, asking for immunity typically is done because those asking for it...have info on and are ready to roll on
'bigger fish.'
Given Flynn's former position(s), the list of
'bigger fish'...is pretty darned short.
With what has happened to recent Putin critics and
if Flynn has info tying Trump and/or his staff to Russia...I think he would be well served to get some protection.
