I have one and they do a decent job BUT, and this is a big BUT, don't use it indoors. It creates a mess. When I use it on my cats, fur flys all over the place because it just takes off a thin layer. You have to brush or comb your cat after using the Furminator to remove any excess hair.

Would I buy it again, probably not because it makes too much of a mess. Plus, my cats don't stay still long enough for me to do a good job. My guess from all the squirming is it irritates them. I can use a brush or comb with no problem but they won't stay still when I use the Furminator!
