You may wish that this DOES go away, if it turns out that Trump was once again right when he suggested that Obama's administration was surveilling him. And now, it seems there is possible evidence indicating this to be correct.
So, the left will try to use slight of hand by suggesting that Russia is the ONLY important issue.

News flash, the Russians have been hacking and spying on us for a very long time. So have we, them. We have listening posts set up on borders, spy satellites and spy planes that are spying on Russia 24/7. And before you start crying about election interference, there has been no evidence that they were able to influence or alter the results of our election. On the other hand, Obama attempted to alter or interfere with Israel's election. Obama gave $350K to the opposition party candidate in Israel's election. Why are you not concerned about that?
