If you have the driveway painted, be sure you have an anti slip additive like Shark Grip mixed into the clear coat.

Also, do not have the concrete directly below the garage door(s) painted without adding a barrier between the rubber weatherstripping and the floor. The paint and rubber will weld together if the sun hots it and if you are gone for any length of time the garage door will stick shut. This will overwork the garage door opener, ruining the garage door opener.

This is solved by applying a barrier strip or just not painting that small part.

Personally I prefer the look of stamped concrete, done by "Go Concrete".....
