Up until then he was what the NRA would call one of the "good guys" with a gun. We cannot let the ability to maintain a body temperature of around 98 degrees be the only condition for being allowed to own and carry a deadly weapon. Collectively as gun owners we need to use our own brains instead of letting Wayne Lappiere, whom I personally think is an extremely overcompensated wing nut, do our thinking for us. As pro gun legislation rules the day violent crime increases proportionally. Although guns create jobs in emergency medicine, funeral industries, prisons, etc., I think on balance they are not really a plus. IMHO
