The whole premise of the OP's statement is seriously flawed.

Again, read this quote. It's obvious to me that he's talking about not reading it aloud at the signing. If he had said, " I didn't read everything" you might have a point.

But what he said is I WON't read everything." "Won't" is the contraction for "will not", and implies future tense, not past.

What a ridiculous grasping at straws to try to prove an absurd point.
