Yep, the Democrats need leadership, and the right kind, but the party is getting stronger.
I have said and will keep on saying it.......the Republican party is flat out folding in front of our eyes, no thanks to the President.
Having so much time to prepare legislation, after 8 years of just standing by and watching and they seem totally inept.
It is becoming increasingly clear, at this writing anyway, that ideology is becoming less important. We have a Republican President and congress who wants to spend money like a drunken sailor, thus they have lost their way fiscally. They have a president who is motivating, not his party, but the other party, along with many of his own to oppose him. Trump, in my opinion is on his own, tearing the Republican party apart. He is making NO appeal to the Democrats or to Republicans who oppose him.
As of now, the mid terms will be a landslide for the Democratic party as I see it, but again that is as of this time in history.
One disaster, and one lie while we are in some kind of crisis and Trump and the party will simply fade away.
I want the real conservatives to stand up....fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility, moral leadership. Right now this is simply a farce to call this party Republican because they are not close.
The adult in the room now is the Democrats, lack of leadership and all. They smell blood on the right, and while they do not "have the cards" right now, they have the Republican party on their heels. Owning all of government, bragging for years about what they would do, and what has happened thus far is a real shame. Mostly for our country.

There has not been a DEMOCRATIC party for about twenty years. My father was probably one of the last of that party. They can pretend to label themselves the Democrat party, but they are definitely NOT the Democratic party. Socialists, Socially progressive, communists, liberals, slackers are probably more suitable labels. Did I leave out "leaches?"
