As far a limiting magazine capacity, first of all, I feel that I should be able to have the same number of rounds as the criminals. and since they are not going to obey the law, how can I be sure that we are on equal footing if you limit my capacity? All that would happen by limiting magazine capacity is that, even if they obeyed the law, anyone intent on doing a mass shooting, would have to do would be carry multiple magazines which take a second or so to change out. Or multiple weapons can easily be concealed and carried. A person with a pair of cargo shorts could easily carry ten handguns, each with a capacity of 15 rounds and at least ten additional magazines.

So explain to me how limiting the number of rounds a law abiding gun owner with a permit is going to help anything?

And what does deer hunting have to do with anything? The intent of the 2nd amendment is that we are able to defend ourselves. All gun laws do is to take away or limit the ability of law abiding citizens to do just that. Criminals don't obey the laws. I do, even when it puts me at a disadvantage.
Perhaps you missed these mass shooting, one gf which occurred <1hr away from here!

Assault rifles are becoming mass shooters’ weapon of choice - The Washington Post

The Newtown school shooter was a "legal" gun owner until he open up the gun case in his house, killed his mother and then went to the school and killed all those kids.

You should know that the NRA always uses the "hunter" argument in response to any kind of gun control law.

I have explained things to you now you explain how limiting the number of bullets in a magazine will take away your 2nd amendment right as you still would have a gun and bullet to defend yourself!

If a criminal in shorts carried that many guns and ammo in his pants we would be seeing something that shouldn't be out in the light of day.

You have the right to bear arms that is a given. What I don't understand why we can impose speeding limits on our highways but we can't limit anything around guns.

Do you know how many women are killed each year by a man with a gun. We saw this here in The Villages a couple of years ago.
