It is abundantly clear most Republicans have a memory of convenience. See the underlined What the hell do you think the Tea Party was started by? They are so bad that they had to change their name to the Freedom Caucus, but their attitude hasn't changed.
You have a president that is operating without a clue. His thin skin is causing most of his own and the Republicans problems. As soon as he starts acting like an adult, the noise will tone down. This assumes, of course, the Republicans will start to talk to Democrats, which might be hard because the Republicans are getting a full dose of their own medicine. Surprise! Surprise! They don't like it.
