What did the Penn. legislator say when Penn. voter id laws was passed. "we just gave Penn. to Romney." The judge that overturn that law knew damn right well, who was targeted to make to harder for them to vote. Why didn't Penn. fight the ruling to the Supreme Court? Because they aren't as stupid as you.
I guess the population hasn't increased over the past forty years, and people aren't living longer. Neither of those would be a good reason lines are longer now than in the past. Hell no. Not in your world anyway.
Make it easier for a person to get a voter id, and requiring a voter id might fly. But making it easier to get a voter id is the last thing people in these Republican control states want. If they had their way, blacks would still be 3/5 of a person.
