Ace Hardware stores (def the one on 466; also assume the one on 441) will refill YOUR tank. Cost about $19. We just did this in the past 2 weeks.

Other places have the trade-in service...you leave your tank there and pick up another one that's been filled. We had recently bought a new tank at Sam's and wanted to keep ours (we know where it's been)...so Ace was the place for us.

I recently read an article that said some druggies are using propane tanks in meth labs; their cooking process (?) could damage the seals on the tanks. They turn the tanks into these exchange places so you might get a bad tank. Not sure how much of this is true...just easier to fill our own tank.
