You do not convict someone in court BEFORE arresting them. You find probably cause, arrest them and then present the evidence. Your way would undoubtedly allow the bad guys to escape justice. You don't get real life experience from a library. The only hazard you get is possibly eye stain and coke bottle glasses(and lack of vitamin D from not getting outside in the sun).
