I hope the people affected by the events earlier this week in Manchester know that most of the people in the West stand with them.

I know it is a scary world out there, but if we don't live our lives (but be vigilant) and attend events that bring us joy, then the terrorists have won. This statement has been said and posted many times since 9/11.
