I did not vote for Obama. Yet, he was my president. I would have been proud had he been a success. I keep telling people don't blame me-I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA.
Yet, I am still stuck with the mess he created or if you choose allowed to continue.
I did AND I DO choose Trump over Hillary. So if it makes you feel better you are welcome to blame me. Just be sure to credit me with the GOOD as well as the BAD.

You are responding to the OP as if it were me. It's not.
I threw no vote away and since I have never ever questioned anyone's choice, I really resent it that you brought it up. The worst thing I have said about Trump voters was I felt sorry for them.
Your opinion of my vote is noted, but as much as you count wins and losses, I count on what's best for my country. I considered both Trump and Clinton to be terrible, horrendous choices, and even though you mock me, my decision was easy under the circumstances.
I blame nobody for Trump...he did a great job of conning, and to add to that. I have always expressed sympathy, and nothing more to Trump voters. I understand what grabbed them.
I do recall Woodward and Bernstein, who exposed Nixon, and are really not on the same page as each other politically, during the primary wondering where the investigative journalists were on Trump.
What I find demoralizing is, and will use this forum as an example.
Trump supporters
never express much support FOR Trump, more a defense of him, and hatred for Clinton/Obama. They look at facts, they hear facts, they are learning what I and others have been saying....he was a crooked. Deceitful, lying man for 70 years. He still is that same man.
There was a point where I really thought...ok, I don't like him, but the country is first...maybe. But his self absorption has not allowed any growth, in fact he is worse. Looking at any and all Presidents, this man has set so many low standards, it is hard to comprehend.
I do not "blame" anyone for their vote, although you seem to..Again based on hate of Clinton. I choose not to vote against but for, and if that is the underdog, so be it.
I DO blame those that despite this "train wreck" of a presidency would still expend effort to defend Trump.
