Athens was a well established farming town and today still has a little charm as a small village. My Grandfather was the Sheriff for Green County at the turn of the century and had a farm in Athens. He was born in 1871 and lived for 102 years and passed away in 1972. I hope the Restaurant does well as they represent a real charming village.
The name of the restaurant that is the subject of this thread is actually Athena and the former restaurant in SS was Athens. The names come from the town where the owners came from, Greece, NY, a suburb of Rochester, NY.
