My Dad was a Sergeant in the 110th Artillery of the 29th Infantry Division that landed on Omaha Beach. Just realizing what day it is gives me a sad feeling. I remember how emotional my dad would get on this day each year.

I miss my Dad, my brave loving caring Dad. I know he is in heaven with all the men he lost in this battle; the men he loved so much and morned on this day each year.
